Hi, this is me (Tanya) 🙂

Hello, My name is Tanya. I started blogging about 1.5 years ago. In this blog you will find posts related to body positivity + confidence, self care + love and mental health.

I have been passionate about body positivity + confidence since I was about 17 years old. I wanted to start this blog as a place for people to come together and feel safe.

Growing up mental illness wasn’t something that was spoken about very often. When I was diagnosed in 2016 with bpd I didn’t even know what it was.

Self care + self love is a rather new concept to me. I’ve already been great at taking care of others needs, not so great with my own.

When I was a teenager I was extremely self conscious about my body. I thought at that time I was too fat. (Meanwhile I was 122 pounds).

I remember lieing about my weight when I was 115 pounds. When asked I would say I was 97 pounds, like being over 100 pounds was something to be ashamed of. Which it definitely is not.

This is a picture of me when I sadly thought I was fat. Before I became body positive.

My goal for this blog moving forward in the future is that it is a safe place for people to come together and talk about body positivity/confidence issues that may be affecting them., along with mental health, self care and self love.
